Privacy Policy

Curb Tribe collects only what it needs to take your order, ship it, and help you afterward. We do not sell your personal information. This page explains what we collect on https://curbtribe.com/, why, who helps us handle it, and what choices you have.

• Order details: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and the items you buy
• Account details: username and password, if you create an account (passwords are stored hashed)
• Messages: what you send through the contact form or by email, including any order number
• Newsletter: your email address, only if you sign up
• Automatic data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page

• Process payments, pack and ship orders, and send order and tracking emails
• Handle returns, refunds, and support requests
• Prevent fraud and keep the site secure
• Understand which pages and products people use, so we can improve the shop
• Send marketing email, only if you opted in (unsubscribe any time)
• Meet tax and legal obligations

1. PayPal: receives payment and billing details to process your payment. See PayPal's privacy statement.
2. Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx): receive your name, delivery address, and phone number to deliver the package.
3. Analytics (Google Analytics): receives aggregated usage data. See Google's privacy policy.
4. Hosting and email providers: process data on our behalf to run the site and send messages.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect against fraud.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:

• Cart and session cookies (such as woocommerce_cart_hash and wp_woocommerce_session_*) so your cart works
• Login cookies if you have an account
• Analytics cookies (such as _ga) to see how the site is used
• PayPal cookies set during checkout to secure your payment

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cart cookies may stop checkout from working; analytics cookies can be blocked without affecting the site.

Order and payment records are kept for about 7 years for tax purposes. Support messages are kept 1-2 years. Account data is kept while your account is active. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. After that we delete or anonymize it.

The site uses HTTPS, access to personal data is limited, and software is kept updated. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it is used
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete your personal information, except where we must keep it by law
• Stop sharing your information for targeted advertising (we do not sell personal information)

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and we will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email [email protected]. We respond within 45 days. If you are outside the U.S., you may have similar rights under local law, and you can use the same email.

The shop is for customers 18 and older (see our Terms & Conditions), and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has sent us data, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, the new version goes on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
